Gmail turned off Dark Mode for some users

Many users of the Gmail app noticed an unexpected change - one of the latest features disappeared.

Dark Mode may not be the most popular option among users, but it is very good for your phone's display (if you have an OLED screen) and is also less eye-catching.

Google has launched the Dark Mode option for its Gmail app for Android and iOS operating systems from September 2019.

Google then said that for those users who already use Android 10 or iOS 13 and have Dark Mode turned on at system level, Gmail will automatically adjust to Dark Mode.

The ability to activate the dark mode with the procedure is now disabled: Gmail -> Settings -> General settings -> Theme.

This applies mainly to phones running Android 10, but some iOS users complain that they no longer have the option.

So far, Google has not announced the disappearance of the Dark Mode option for the Gmail app. It may be a simple mistake, but it is also possible that the company discovered a dark mode problem and deliberately withdrew the option.
