How to prevent obesity in the workplace?

Work can be worse than college days when it comes to weight gain.

Nearly half of those who work in the office say they are overweight when they start work.

If you know this problem well, look for the most common culprits and the simplest solutions:

Collegiality and fast food
Almost a third of dieters say their colleagues encourage them to eat more and choose fast food. And since you have no cooking facilities in the office, eating fast food seems justified.

Solution: Did you know that we eat twice as much if the food is in our field of vision? So stay away from food during the meeting and avoid fast-food outlets.

Second strategy: Plan ahead and reward yourself if you resist fast food. One hamburger per week will not do you any harm.

Have lunch with colleagues
When we are in the company, on average we eat 30 percent more food. We often take dessert even though we are not hungry. By the way, talking to colleagues, we don't even notice what and how much we eat.

Solution: Prepare your own lunch at home and then eat it in the company. If you go to a restaurant, choose a healthier meal from the menu.

Eat when under stress
A quarter of employees rated work as the biggest cause of stress. When under stress, the body releases hormones that increase appetite, and thus the desire for more nutritious foods.

Worse still, this effect does not end when you leave the office.

Solution: Take breaks more often, especially if you have a stressful and stressful day. This will help you stay balanced and make it easier to recover from stress. Try listening to relaxing, meditative music.

If you want a healthy snack, take a cube or two of dark chocolate.
