You know the saying: If life gives you a lemon - make lemonade. But we suggest: If life gives you lemon seeds, plant it and you will get a bunch of fresh lemons.
The general opinion is that lemon trees only succeed in places with warm and sunny climates. But the truth is that they can grow both indoors and in well-conditioned rooms.
It takes 3 to 6 years to get the right fruit - but it's worth it!
How to plant lemon:
Get organic lemon (it may be expensive but you will only need a few seeds),
Remove the seed from it,
Prepare a soil mixture for the future lemon tree (citrus fruits are best grown in a mixture of peat, perlite, vermiculite, and organic fertilizer). The soil must be permitted water permeability.
Choose a ceramic bead with a diameter of 20 cm. You can also use a plastic container as well as a wooden one. For starters, it is very important to plant the lemon seed in a smaller container until it grows.
It takes 10 to 14 hours of light for the seeds to germinate, so expose the container to artificial light in the absence of natural light, such as during egg incubation.
Water the seed every day. It is best to use lukewarm water and keep the soil moist.
Planting procedure
Now that you have everything, start planting:
Make chamomile tea, then allow it to cool. Cut the lemon and remove the seeds from it. Put undamaged lemon seeds in warm chamomile tea.
Fill the container halfway with the soil and water it well until the soil is even. Then fill the container almost to the top.
Arrange the seeds evenly across the soil container, cover with a new layer of soil (about 3 cm deep), and then water the soil again.
Cover the container with a plastic wrap and leave in a warm place. Make sure the soil is warm and humid so that the seeds can germinate. After 2 weeks, the lemon will sprout.
When the lemon tree does not grow a bit, you must feed it with fertilizer. Put fertilizer twice a year.
The soil around the lemon must not be dry, but it should never be too watery. If there is no natural light, place the tree beside artificial light.
And another important thing: lemon loves when you talk to it, so talk to it and sing it.
If you do all of this as explained, you will enjoy the wonderful fruits of your labor.
