The Plague Inc. viral game is changing - we will no longer spread the virus, but prevent the spread

The creators of Plague Inc. announced that they would make a new mod because of the coronavirus, contrary to the way they played the game so far.

Plague Inc. Video Games the Chinese authorities became a thorn in the eye before the coronavirus was declared a pandemic. In this game, the goal is to develop a virus and to infect the whole world. While this may seem like a disgusting idea to some at this time, the fact is that the game was made long before the pandemic and in some contexts helps players become familiar with the most common methods of spreading the infection.

But soon Plague Inc. function differently because the official mode is in development that will completely reverse the game - instead of spreading the virus to the world, the game will now work to prevent a deadly infection. Players will, therefore, have to take action to combat the infection - declaring quarantine, social distance, abolishing public transport, etc. This mode is for Plague Inc. to develop in collaboration with experts from WHO, the World Health Organization.

In addition to the announcement of the new mod, the creators of the game donated $ 250 thousand to the said organization to fight the virus COVID-19.
