Star Wars: The Mandalorian adds Rosario Dawson to Season 2 as Ahsoka Tano

Ever since her debut in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, fans have been eagerly waiting to see Ahsoka Tano in the live-action galaxy of Star Wars stories, and now SlashFilm is bringing that desire to theirs to finally be fulfilled as Rosario Dawson has been selected to play this Jedi for another season of The Mandalorian series.

As fans have expressed a desire for this choice in recent years, Dawson herself has often expressed interest in taking on the role, and this choice will surely delight not only Clone Wars fans but Dawson herself. The second season of The Mandalorian Series is currently in production and will debut on Disney + this October.

The character made her debut as the padawan of Anakin Skywalker, but throughout the series, she has proven to be just as attractive a character as Anakin himself, if not more so, and has won legions of fans. When Star Wars: The Clone Wars was unexpectedly canceled after an episode with a cliffhanger, fans were shocked that they would not see the conclusion of her adventure, knowing that she was completely absent from Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.

Fortunately, Clone Wars creator Dave Filoni has once again brought back Ahsoka for his new series, Star Wars Rebels, which took place several years before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, allowing fans to learn more about the character's fate. The finale of that series even confirmed that Ahsoka, along with Sabine Wren, survived the events of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, with the final scene of the couple showing them leaving for the galaxy to discover Ezra Bridger's place.

As fans can't wait for the second season of The Mandalorian, this news will surely delight them. Now, just to resume recording soon, to get a sequel as soon as possible.
