After a bunch of announcements, and despite uploaded images of vehicles and cameras earlier this month, screenwriter/director Matt Reeves marked the official start of work on The Batman with a Twitter post showing a movie film board on a leather chair. Working alongside cinematographer Greig Fraser (and recording in 2: 39: 1 proportions), Reeves has Robert Pattinson in the role of Bruce Wayne (and his typically masked alter ego), Zoë Kravitz as Selina "Catwoman" Kyle, Colin Farrell as Penguin, Paul Given as Riddler, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, John Turturro as Crime Chief Carmine Falcone and Peter Sarsgaard in a mysterious role (with speculations that he might be Harvey Dent / Two-Face).
